INVADERS - Indie Game Dev

INVADERS is a indie game prototype top-down wave base survival shooter inspired by Helldiver 1. You as a great soldier need to defend against endless waves of zombies and spiders in a post-apocalyptic. Fight against the enemies and survive as much as you can.
Features:

Wave based enemy spawning that increase each wave

3 enemy types (Solider, Spider and Big Spider)

3 Power ups - Health gain, Movement speed and Attack speed

High score system 

PC Controls: 

WASD - to move around

Mouse - to aim

Left click/hold down - to shoot 

How to play:

Survive against the enemies

Kill enemies to gain points and chances of dropping power up

Each wave increase more enemies and speed

Don't let them get through you or it's game over

Development Background

This game was developed as a prototype with wave-based survival mechanisms in Unity. It was inspired by Helldivers 1’s top-down perspective shooter. The goal was recreating remodify some codes based on Create With Code in Unity (Spawn Manager and Enemies AI). It was also part of 12170 indie game development in University of Canberra.
